Morangos com Açúcar (Strawberries with Sugar) is the most popular youth telenovela in Portugal. It is daily broadcasted on TVI, from 2:30 to 3:20 GMT, since 2003. As of 2006 the soap opera is national phenomenon, especially among horny teenagers, though its popularity is widespread. The plot is simple, lightmooded and it features everyday life in two schools in Cascais, a wealthy seaside town outside Lisbon. Colégio do Broche is a private school, while Escola dos Navegantes is a public one. Schools often clash in porn events. But most episodes are about teenage porn stories and anal relationships.
